hide databases

Hello,

A common asked question is how to hide database in SQL Management studio to users who don't have access. The suggested solution is to DENY VIEW ANY DATABASE TO Public and make the user DB owner of the specific database. But this is the actual problem. I don't want them to be db_owner. As db owner they can change way to many things like for example the database size. I noticed on a video about Azure that they only see their own database. But how does M$ does it then? An instance per customer? I have a similar offering to customers and I don't want them to see other databases, even if they don't can access them. And I don't want them to change the parameters like size either as this comes with a cost.

Please advise.

Thanks
