We are configuring two nodes with AlwaysOn AGs. Using Synchronous mode (SQL 2014,Windows2012).
We are using third party tools to backup SQL Server AlwaysOn AGs.
My question if transaction log backup taken on secondary, do we need to run it on primary as well or secondary backup will take the required action.
In other words, should we take transaction log on primary and secondary or just one is enough.
My question is only about transaction log. I know differential is not supported on second replica with copy only as well license requirements.
