SQL Server 2008 r2
our DBAs have grown used to doing RDP to database servers to do all their work since many years. now we have a policy wherein only infrastructure team should go into the servers while the rest to do their work remotely.
my question is, being naive with databases and such, is it possible for DBAs to do all their work remotely like using the Management Studio? i don't see any circumstances why would they require access to the server via RDP.
