I have Windows 10 and SQL Server Express 2012. I can indeed find SQLServerManager11.msc in C:\Windows\SysWOW64, but apparently the Microsoft Management console can't find it there. At least, the MMC returns a message declaring it to be unavailable when I try to snap it in via the Run dialog. When I look for it directly in the list of available snap-in's in the MMC, it does not appear. Either way, it doesn't want to snap it in.
. . .
Can I simply move it into another file?
. . .
Thanks for any assistance,
