MDF files growing

Hi all,

We are using SQL 2012 Enterprise edition,

SQL Data files(mdf files) are occupying more disk space these files are filling nearly 150 GB of disk space and the overall drive size limits to 200 GB only.

I’m just worrying In future if the drive fills completely-  Do we have any other best options rather than increasing drive size?  How to control the data growing  and how to monitor the file sizes?

I know we have a shrinking option also available but I want your feedback on which is the best option for growing data file sizes to monitor

Currently we are taking: Full Backups – Every Night
