SQL 2012 Management Studio Crashes when Launching "New Query"

Running SQL 2012 SP1 CU9 as part of AlwaysOn Availability Cluster Group on a pair of Windows 2012 R2 servers.  I can launch Management Studio to manage my SQL instances but whenever I try to launch a "New Query: from within the IDE it crashes Management Studio.

Looking at Event Log I get Error ID 1000:

Tried removing Management Tools and re-adding it back.  Same problem.  If I attempt the same operation from another computer I'm able to initiate New Query.
